Kymco Agility 16+ 4T 50cc camshaft help

Could someone confirm that the arrow should be pointing to the exhaust, also one ring was labelled t and one ring was labelled t2 I presume t sits at the top right?

 

Yes and yes. The T will be the top side of the ring too.
