I wanna buy a scooter to commute to work and go for few rides. I want a very responsive scooter in terms of acceleration, and Id like it to have space to store my helmet under the seat (but not mandatory at all). Also price/insurance and hp/acceleration/response is top priority. Can you guys help me here? Im kinda lost. thanks
That's a tricky one cause you have prioritised everything (apart from underseat storage). Are you willing to make any compromises and if so what, and are you looking to buy new or 2nd hand. A great all rounder has to be something like the Yam Neo's 4.
I dont care much about top speed or comfort for example. Ive looked at honda pcx 125 but it seems to me a very boring scooter to ride (i could be totally wrong) Ive rode some kawasaki vs honda jetskis (not sure if its related), but kawasaki seemed very reponsive and aggressive althought less comfort than honda, but way much funnier to me. To give u an example of what type of scooter Im looking for.
Then I'd definately go for a Yamaha XMAX. Great all round scooter and good fun to ride. I'm a great fan of Kawasaki motorbikes (ninja etc) but never been one of their scooters - don't see many about. I reckon your best bet is to test ride a few and see how you get on!
Most scooters are boring to ride. They all follow a basic principle really. Cheap transport, fuel economy.
