cold weather

hello all hope your riding safe in this cold weather!

I have a 1996 HONDA BALI 50cc air cooled...


has a new choke (auto choke)

when I unplug it cold or hot it makes no difference... now its cold outside when I ride it sometimes just bogs down then picks up again seems to be OK after a mile or so of riding but its starting to get annoying now any trips or tricks would be great.

Check the choke to see if it's working by connecting to 12volt dc, it should get warm and the needle extend a few mm, if it does then refit and plug it in to make it work.

How can I check if there’s a feed to the choke ?

Using a multi meter on AC voltage.
