Running fine but no lights

    Hi after other of hassle got the bike running perfectly now
    Although I have another issue
    I only have indicators and brake lights I also only have indicators and oil light on instrument panel no back lighting or anything
    I have traced the wiring g back and the only issuing can find is the fuse holder is slightly melted Diss formed
    Plz help wanting to mot the bike in next couple of days

    Check your fuse and probably change the fuse holder.

    Been and got a new fuse holder today will fit it and see thanks for reply

    This wont be very helpful but I don't think it will be your fuse. The headlights run on a separate circuit to your brake lights and indicators. They should work even if you have no battery or fuse fitted.

    Have you got a multimeter?
    Its probably going to be your regulator at fault

    Changed regulator still no light only brakes and indicators...
    This is doing my head in now

    Check the ac voltage from the stator

    If the bike is running properly it is unlikely to be the stator. The clue is in the melted fuse holder. Usually caused by poor contacts on the terminals. Did you check the wiring. It is most likely to be either coming from the regulator or going into the fuse box. You will need a multi meter or voltage probe to find it though.

    Hi thanks for reply replaced fuse holder still the same with it been a 50 am beginning to think it's stator as lights run from tht constantly but I am going to bug a tester either today or Monday

    Ive seen a bad ignition switch do this before. As piaggios will run with it unplugged....
