Moped scam or no?

    Hello so tomorrow I'm going to look at this Honda NSC50R 2012 the guy wanted £800 for his sons bike but I got it to £650 here are some pictures I want to make sure im not getting scammed or anything because the ped is worth quite a bit and I'm getting a pretty good offer and want to make sure the ped is working fine is there anything I should check whilst im there having a look many thanks - Joe

    I'd say more background to the buy would be handy.;.,
    Dad buys son a bike,now up for sale - grabbed a bargain,1st thoughts ? - maybe cash is needed to move onto a car,etc.;).

    Well the guy told me that its so his son can buy a car but I don't know at first he was going to deliver without me seeing then he wanted me to see then he didnt he's coming sunday do you think this is too sketchy?

    I wouldnt worry too much, £650 is a good price but 4 stroke 50s dont seem to be in the same demand as 2 strokes so that could explain why he is accepting such a low offer. Does he want you to pay for it before you see it?

    Look at it before you buy it.
    Check it has all paperwork etc

    Do you think they just fitted new plastic pieces and the mechanically part is just all kinds of fucked?

    Can always have him bring it to you and check it out then, you dont have to pay for it if it turns out to be a peice of shit just tell him to fuck off. Give it a proper look over check all the obvious bits and make sure he has all the paperwork and have him sign a bill of sale.

    Listen if it’s not as he’s described it to you then you don’t have to take it, let him bring it to you on the basis that it’s what he says it is and if it’s not then you don’t take it
