Attempted robery

Hi there can any one help me with this?

A couple of days ago someone has tried to steal my moped, piaggio nrg ac. They didnt sucseed luckerly but they snapped the ignition barrel housing clean in half. I have baught a new one and cut the old one off. Now my actual question what weld would be needed to put a new one onto the frame?

 

Mig weld it, you will need to clean the area up, fit inner leg shield, tack it on then try in the lock position to make sure forks lock. If all is good remove legshield and weld it up but don't go mad.
