I am considering having some winter tyres fitted to my Scomadi Tl125 since I live in a rural part of Scotland and the roads I am using are minor B roads with a fair amount of debris and field runoff but I had a couple of questions... Given the following tyre sizes, 110/70-12 (front) and 120/70-12 (rear), tubeless, which branded winter tyres would you recommend and why? The usage is winter riding on minor roads. I am currently looking at Heidenau K58 110/70-12 56M for the front and Heidenau K58 Modified 120/70-12 58S on the rear (since Scomadi use a slightly awkward size on the front). I don't know enough about riding to understand if there are issues with mixing different brands or treads between the front and rear. I think the K58 Modified is just an updated version of the K58 available in different sizes. Cheers.
