Provided everything works out o.k. tomorrow - thinking about aiming for a 250 for a 45-50 daily commute,tempted to buy geared as their relitively slim & have'nt owned one since the end of the 90's but would love a 250 Maxiscooter-got my eye on the X9 atm.
Size of the bike would be an issue/though,anything too wide would be impossible to get in an out of my yard.

There isnt many small 250cc scooters out there TBH.
A look at a ninja 250/300 is worth it though, Nice little bikes.
Would be thinking more along these lines:-
CB250 Nighthawk,CD250U,GN250,GSX250,XS250, to name a few.
Would snap up an old Superdream no prob./prob. is they've been around so long that a good one would be pricy inc.the 400n.
While 'i'll have some of that' would deffo apply to the Ninja,would think it less likely than not.would prob.have been ridden 'briskly'. -
otherwise i'd be commuting on a 250 Gamma or Nsr.Mk.
