V-clic no power when ignition switched on

Hi. Recently changed the battery on my 50cc Peugeot v-clic as it was a bit sluggish to start.
It was running ok although no better at starting and now I don’t get any power when I switch the ignition on. Put old battery back on to check it wasn’t that and still dead.
Fuse next to battery looks ok.
Don’t know where to start, any suggestions please?

If it's not the battery or main fuse sounds like a faulty ignition switch. What happens when you kickstart it?

 

It won’t kick start as there is no power.

 

You don't need battery or power to kick start it. If you have an amp meter check battery voltage. If that looks good and the main fuse looks good I would be looking at ignition switch or relay.
