Air cooled 125 lump, sr 125 loom etc is your best bet fuck a liquid cooled conversion loool

could get most off ebay/gumtree

Thanks :), Is there many major frame mods that need doing for a 125 lump? im rocking the old shape sr and jog-r engin atm lmao .
Thanks

i have decided on a aerox 100 lump, as it seems my best bet wit h out making the conversion too obvios. iv been offer a 100cc lump and sr125 carb for £148 so i im going to take that, jsut goota get a aerox rear wheel :), oh yea forgot to ad, yesterday me and 2 mates did a speed fight 50 to 100cc conversion, oonly took a couple of hours jsut had to changen the alternators over so we dint ahve to mess around witht eh engin harness:).

donnnnt do it lol. i would never resort to puttin a speedy engine in a bike after takin a better ngine out . do wat u got told to do . if somones clever enough to figure out ur swappin engines then theyll still no. 172 it n stop waistin ya time n money m8 .ull thank us trust me
sr_50_w#6
i wasnt going to put a speedy engin in i was going to put a aerox engin in, hte mounts ect are all wrong for a sr 125/172 lump, the shitty ped i have has top mountinh engin brackets :wallbash: supose thats wat i get for buying a sr tbh
nibbles#7
iv only ever used a runner engine in a zip so i dunno but im sure theres a way coz iv seen loads

buy a 125, or tune your 50.. 70's arnt as slow as you'd think, especially next to the shitty excuse for more cc any 100cc scoot engine is

i agree with minor liam that 100 speedy engine isnt so fast, high 70 zips used to wipe the floor with it id go for the 172 conversion then you might actually beat me :P
sr_50_w#10
thanks minor :), im going to go for a 125 conversion or local garage has a nice sr125 witha power pipe going cheap maybe get a px
MiNoR cOnFuSiOn#11
why is everyones responce to somthing "throw a 172 engine in it" it WONT go in without serious frame work, buy a 125 sr if you want a 125 sr... tune a 50 if you have a 50. its pritty simple.

i build conversions as i like fast light bikes, woudlent really make one for the road, mabey a typh/nrg/zip but doubt it as you can just buy a typh wich takes nrg pans if thatsd your cup of tea.

as for sr 50's with anything other than a piaggio engine, your dreaming if you think a 125 engine is a simple job
