Gilera runner vx 125 keeps blowing fuses, can anyone help ??

I have a Gilera runner vx 125 55plate and basically the brake lights weren't functioning properly, so my friend like an idiot put a metal screw driver into the little hole where the bulb fits in, and then touched the metal inside and blew something, at first we thought it could be the fuses but now when I change the fuses, it just keeps blowing the fuses one by one every single time, would you know what it wrong with the bike ??????

erm maybe your mate damaged the light fixing with the screw driver, or maybe your regulator/rectifier has gone :glare:

yh thats correct, he touched the little metal clip inside and then the bike just was not working from there, then when i checked the fuses, they were blown, but then i replaced them and they just keep on blowing !

you could unplug the rear light, then see if the fuses stop blowing...

then plug the rear light back in, and if the fuses blow thats your problem
