right i droped a ring in my old cylinder so got a pmtuning 70 i know its not the best, but i dont want rubbish about get a new kit its naff i want help and would just like to get this sorted because there not that bad once set up....

anyway before the pmtuning 70 kit i had cast iron mallossi 70 and set it up with 21mm carb, yasuni c16 (the race one) multivar variator kevlar belt, the hard mallossi conta spring and pmtuning clutch with the hard springs and it run perfect with 5.5g rollers.

but when i put the pmtuning 70s on i got a flat spot at 20/25-35 mph so i messed about with jets think ive got 94 in now and put 4.5 gram rollers and that sorted it for a while. now its back im thinking its the cylinder getting more gas tight so i need lighter rollers but ive been turning the mixture screw making it leaner and it seems to help abit but has starterd to miss when you accelarate fast and and at top speed.

what do you all reckon?

thanks for all the help.....

i just wanted to see if there was anybody who knew a little more than me. and could tell me that i could mess with the carb and drop the needle down or somthing ...never mind, i guess dropping 1.5g roller weight isnt that bad to say ive gone from a cast iron lazy safe cylinder to a revier aluminum one.

if anyone else gets this problem its nothing to do with jet size or mixture strength because as ive leaned it out ive lost power and you need a sort of rich mixture for max power. just keep droping roller weights untill you get constant revs all the way up

You waited only 24 hours for a reply and titled your topic so irrelevantly it's no wonder no one replied.

As you said anyway you would have needed to have fitted lighter rollers as it's a higher revving kit. A 94 sounds too large as well. A rich mixture doesn't give you more power a slightly lean one does but it also causes the bike to go bang.

If you want to know how to setup a carb and rollers you follow our guides...

just because it was running fine with one kit dont mean you can drop a new kit in there and will be fine they all setup differently, just fiddle around with your jets and rollers, as terro said the jet seems to high, try go down jet by say 5 ? and if its better then another 5 and so on till you get it right
