right scooter specs
dragster 50
-pm tuning 70's
-athena crank
-21mm delorto carb
-yasuni c16
-mallossi multivar
-pm tuning clutch hard springs
-mallossi hard contra springs
-4g rollers
-kevlar belt

right its got a 92 main jet in. if i turn the mixture screw all the way in and drop the clip on the needle to the bottom notch its still abit rich, but when i put it up one notch on the needle and screw the mixture screw out 1 and a half turns it miss fires and runs lean is it normal to have a 94-98 main jet in because i know people who run bikes with leaner jets or is it more than simple carb tuning?

You were told that you jet was too large and you haven't bothered fitting a smaller one?
dragster#3
yeah well your wrong do you know anything about carbs or did you not bother reading what i put? on a 92 main it will run too lean if i put the needle on the second notch. ive just googled it and ended up back at this site with someone saying there using a 105 main. so im pretty sure im right getting 94-98 jets and its deffinatly just getting the carb set up.

take a look....

yeah thats right, people expect you to suggest a jet or exact set-up
for their bike...and it's never that easy..

it's trial and error...no 2 engines are exactly the same...theres half a dozen
reasons why 2 seemingly identical engines may require different roller choice
or jetting size ;)

Firstly bye. Secondly you obviously have no idea and have no idea how to read either. http://www.scootershack.co.uk/carbguide.html The needle position and main jet size are at different throttle positions. Changing the needle height wont effect full throttle.

I'll leave this here for future reference however.
