typhoon 50 (street) no more. she,s dead

hi all,many thanks to you all for the advice on keeping my lil scoot running. unfortunatly she died on the way to work yesterday(sob).still runs but wont charge.however this gave me the exscuse to blow my wages on another scoot.i am now the PROUD owner of a runner 125 fx.god does she fly.i just wondered if there are any common faults with these?so far i have noticed temp gauge not working.any advice would be good.special thanks to "minorconfusion" cheers, ian p.s anyone want to buy a typhoon that wont charge? lol

ok temp guages on a runner wont move unless your stood in traffic for like an hour.... if u keep riding it the chances are it wont move untill like 3 hours of riding... or the thingy has come unpluged on it... lol check it.. mine always came of

how much do you want for the typh? and wherabouts are you?

hi all,paid not a lot for the typhoon.but then bought new exhaust,technigas replca of original.(not what i thought i was getting but then i cant read dutch)if i got £50 i would be happy.works on my case as i now have two bust bikes in there car park.bloody upmarket hotel.bikes are in somerset near frome.

forgot to add also got a suzuki an125 with transmission maladies.bought it new belt and rollers then somehow brother balls up the fitting! this was bought as a quik fix to get me to previous job.i really hate this scooter.its slow,its heavy,the wheels are to small,if it wouldnt make such a mess i would love to batter the crap out of it with a sledgehammer.the other bike is a 1975! suzuki a100 with blown rotary valve.this i loved but it didnt last long(another e_bay bargain). still i dont care now i have my runner. cheers, ian
