Have read the LInk, but the problem is that ignition is okey but the Spark Plug is full of Gasoline, and the Engine is drowned. I Just went out to the scooter 1 hour ago hmmmm It Started at Once. I didnt smell Gasoline in the Room like 2 days ago I Normally drive and Repair Oldtimer mopeds from the 60,s
A brand new was mounted, but today the new one didn,t close too. Tried to put some thin oil spray in the vacuum tube and used som air too, but the function is not Stable. Took a look at the Dellorto PVHA 12mm again, the needle and Floot was okey. But even if the Vacuum Petcock not is closing right , I think the Carburator should close when its filled up moped
No , when i suck in the vacuum tube ( the one undernear ) the petrol cock open the other tube ( Gasoline goes to Carburator ) but it is not closing after some seconds,
That's a problem with scooter carbs, they cannot be relied on to shut the fuel off completely with just the float needle, hence the need for a vacuum fuel tap. You could try installing a manual fuel tap in the line.
View attachment 14809 Hi all Change the Vacuum Fuel cock with another type and mounted an ekstern fuel cock in line of that also changed the needle valve and float. Gonna test that in some days. Yesterday it had start problems again , hmm now the new Spark Plug had fail spark from the isolation , Took the decision and put in an oldtimer spark plug . I don,t have time anymore because the oldtimers are waiting for me but will return
No The vacuum petrol cock is still mounted and an normal close open cock is mounted after that. Then you can shut of all Petrol, in case of the vacuum not shutting correct.
I think you got lost in translation here. The carburettor needs an air filter. The engine will run very badly without an air filter.
