Yer true this one was from the isle of wight, one owner who was about 60 and ust used it to go shops lol.
I got it from a trade bikes place that just goes through the free ads looking for cheap bikes then sells em on to traders (dealerships) who sell em for a massive profit.
yep... the one i saw was in classifieds and i get them 4 weeks befor publishing and it had already gone (i phoned the day it came through the door) he said it had been gone a few hours after placing the advert so even the offices dealing with classifieds have people tipping people off.
if theres money to be made SOMONE ELSE is looking/doing it..
GREAT find ether way.. dont mod the pans/lights. do whatever to the engine but please keep this as it looks now. it WILL be worth more this way belive me

Yer thats what I was thinking. Be nice to have a stock look anyway will just shock the boy racers even more when I pull away at the lights
keep the original bits but id personally ditch the front visor/wing mirrors and use an nrg front pannel.. ether use the indi's or just leave em as are. maybe black.. set of vx rwu forks if any minters come up but other than that id leave it completly alone. well, apart from the engine.
nice bike gotta love mint runners i had a fx125 with 2500miles on the clock just the guy wanted the frame for a auto conversion ans said i was welcome to the rest nice mint gold pans too
Im pretty sure ive decided to keep the bodywork (lights etc.) all standard and just spend my money on the engine. So first thing I want to get is a exhaust. Prefer it to be chrome as dont want to worry about it rusting and snapping. Im thinking about a chrome pm55 (works out about 275 I think). What you guys reckon is it worth getting?
good choice,
might as well spend your mullar on the engine... its the only bit of the bike that gives you more fun,
looking pretty is just a bonus lol.
i think .....
that you shouldn't buy any thing with the words pm on it :mod:

Lol i know what you mean mate but I want a chrome pipe that looks good so I aint got much choice apart from PM's really. Theres a scorp but they give no boost in performance and is pretty much same price as pm55's these days. Jolly moto but then id have to buy it then get it chromed so thats just dough (260 for pipe and 100?+ for chroming). Mightt consider pushing the boat out and getting a malossi but then maybe not as I want a pipe that will work with a standard set up whilst i sort out my 172, carb, gear up etc. Hmmmmmmm
market on these is pritty narrow tbh hence most people use pm pipes. sucks tbh as 70's have such a vast array of amazing pipes. just a shame yasuni havent had a go at a 125 pipe.
remember to factor in the cost of a welder wiht a pm pipe.
