A/C to L/C

how much work is involed in converting a piggy a/c to a l/c is it just water pump, head and loom? or is there much more than this?

dont think a ac to lc can be done as far as i know but a lc to ac can be not sure tbh :rofl:

easy if your using an eleci waterpump.. can just drill under the exhaust port on the barrel and tap for a pipe fitting and feed water from the top into this.

or machine out the section that usually houses the waterpump. a bit harder and why not just run an electric pump

easier to do lc to ac

just fit the ac topend, tap the stator so you can screw a fan onto it. then fit the cylinder cowl.

don;t even need to tap the stator, the holes are already in it.

the engine has got a water pump on it already and comes with a lc head.....do i just bolt the head on and away i go or is there more too it?

would like too know before i buy it and it turns out usless

not seen many piaggio 50s then every one ive worked on the fan holes have been threaded on a/c and l/c

if you talking about the hole in the middle thats threaded thats for the flyweel puller to take it off.

the 50's have the same flywheel so i belive there all threaded.. the 125 items are diff between lc and ac tho.

yeh, it wasnt stated whether it was a 50 or 125, 125s arent threaded.
