Hi. I have a 50cc 2 stroke zip.It had a leo-vince TT exhaust ,70 carb jet and 5.5g mallossi rollers and did roughly 60 mph.The other day i added a polini high speed variator and added the 7.0g rollers what came with it now it has terrible set off and top speed any idea's on what has happened?

Firstly it's not doing anywhere near 60mhp.

Secondly put the lighter rollers back in. 7g sounds way too heavy.

as he said^^^^

you should never beleive clock speed on a moped, the manufacturers tune the speedos so 16 yr old boys think they are going a lot faster than they really are

and the rollers that come with the polini variators are meant for std pipes, and hence far too heavy for sports pipe equipped machines ;)

my et2 is saying 90mph...... literally,

if you thik your doig 60, go on the motorway/a three lae bypass, the left lane is 50mph.. see how you get on :)

Thanks guys and i'll have a look at the speedo. They also gave me a torque / commpression spring would this work with my 5.5g rollers?
