The Naraku kit isn't much better than stock to be honest. Make sure the carb is clean, jetted to the kit and pipe.
Wiggle the key in the ignition barrel, see if it recreates the problem. I've had that on a few bikes in recent times.

I've got a couple of older (now) customers that still have they're SP125's. Another that has my old VX125, and another that has two VXR200's.

It's injected so should have a check engine light on the dash. Plug it in, find the code, correct or replace the faulty part, away you go.
