Hardly any difference in stock format as the LC bikes are heavier. Liquid cooling is only faster as when it comes to the high end of tuning as the only way to keep the cylinder cool enough is with liquid cooling.
Just to add to what tErr0 wrote.... Liquid cooling allows for tigher tollerances to be used in running piston /bore clearances...which in turn makes the engines more efficient...hence in theory, produces more power for a similar state of tune to the relevant air cooled version. Liquid cooling omly became really popular in the early 80's with the Yamaha 250/350LC's which produced so much more power than their predecessors which were air cooled. Liquid cooling in bikes wasnt even a new thing at THAT time. Velocette made a production engine in the 50's and there was some alot earlier but i'm not that old to be able to remember them
L E volocette ran l/c and even the famous Scott from the 30's ram water cooling on there 700cc twin. Water cooled is better.
