I have a feeling that the crank case will crack on that, right above the kickstart position. It's going to have a lot of torque going right through there and could start to twist the block, even though you have machined a plate. But good luck, interesting project.
wait? does it run through the chamber first, then the turbo, then the silencer? how are you oiling the turbines? just hoping that 2 stroke is enough? or do you have some sort of oil system in place? cool project, i love anything with a blower!
As Scubabiker asked, how is the Turbo lubricated? Have you researched this idea? There's a reason we don't see any Turbo'd Two Strokes on the roads . . . Nice work though!
is it a snowmobile turbo? i was talking to a guy last month who builds and races snowmobiles, they are crazy, 3 cylinder turbo charged 2 strokes! looks like you have an oil feed to the blower? is it a separate tank or are you just using 2 stroke oil to lubricate it? i REALLY like this project... will it be a spint bike?
aaahhh sweet! what class will it run in? is there a class for streetlegal turbo auto bikes? maybe you will be the only one in the class!
