i have a zip sp with 70cc malossi kit and 21mm carb and variator,.
do i need to have a malossi reed box? the bike is not running good even with the right jet in the carb. i have a sito plus exhaust and a 80 jet.

have you changed your rollers since you put these parts on

Exhaust is going to be massively restricting it as well.

the acceleration is not smooth with 7.2 gram rollers so i am trying to find the right ones. ill try the origonal ones which are 6.5 i think.

also i can feel the pipe restriciting it. would a malossi team pipe be much better?

i think i would be tempted to keep putting money in this zip if i spend 300+ on a new muffler so i think ill keep the sito plus, downgrade my carb back to the 17.5 with the stock airbox and just enjoy it as it. It has a bit more power to go up the hills and thats what i was looking for.

anyone know what the right jet size is for a 17.5 carb with a 70cc malossi kit and a sito plus exhaust? i had an 80 in my 21mm carb so maybe a 76 jet would be ok in the 17.5mm carb?

keep the 21 on it, and you need to go lighter on your rollers not heavier.

the 21mm carb has the suction hose for the gas and the oil inlet next to each other. the suction hose is see through and i can see oil getting into it some how and gets dumped in the cylinder all at once and causes alot of smoke and sputtering. this ever happen to anyone else?

Getting a higher performance pipe like a Leo Vince ZX or a yasuni R and changing the roller weight would probebly make it go better.

Preforms better than the pipe you got LOL. If you're on a tight budget. Get a leo-tt.

the leo vince pipes are for 50cc mate there crap to be onest, get a yasuni r and if your on a budget keep it as a 50cc because youll need to maintain it very little.

No. On a dyno. A leo TT and a sport kit are paired very well. That is why they are used in the budget 70cc tuning guide.
