My aerox style one wasnt, As there halogen bulbs they had two wires coming of each bulb they have to be wired together, right pain in the ars!
A normal light that youd use in your house lol? Thats what they are basically. They dont make any sort of beam pattern and generally do a bad job of lighting up the road.

you obviously didnt turn yours on then iv got this light on my rox but in white... and it lights up the road with Just the audi lights on at night., with the main lights on, its bright as fuck...... dont see why it shouldnt pass an mot if it works.
On a moped you just need a headlight, if it's fitted with a dip and main then they must conform with the beam patterns to avoid dazzling oncoming motorists. In the old days nearly all bike lights were made by Lucas, the owner Joe Lucas was known as the prince of darkness......Not a lot of people know that (in a Michael Caine voice)
Bit late, but these lights look rubbish on zips, they make the front of the bike look to flat in my opinion.
