You just summed up exactly why i started this thread!,my 1st scooter which i bought last year (27yr old-in for long term re/build when parts gathered together),not!!-clued up about more modern rides/models/build quality/spares availibility.
Hope to get otr june/july by buying what's knocking around but don't want to buy any old dog or something with design issues, etc.
In layman's terms would'nt have a f......g clue about what i might be buying.Peeps saying why they prefer this over that is what info i'm looking for so i can have reasons in mind why it might not be making sense to consider certain deals.
Theres always a deal out there...a lot of ppl sell there bike because they have a repair bill on there hand of a few hundred quid...this is probably because they dont have a clue about bikes and that price is a garage price which is most probably 70 %labour charge...where as if u know what your doing u could simply buy it at a fraction of the price...do the work yourself and then sell in working order at a tidy profit...so doesnt really matter what bike u buy just check what they fetch running and then u will know whether its worth getting eh...some oare just more fought after then others...ie 2 stroke over a 4 stroke...but then othere may prefer a 4t over a 2t.lol

Sounds like we have a simular mindset on this.
Have noticed there are alot of clueless people/or bits +pieces that cause to sell at loss, buying car, quite a list as happens.
Gonna be a case of reading between the lines.
2-strokes forever!.
