Hello from Australia, I have been lurking for a while trying to learn about scooters. We are haveing a 6 hour race for 50cc scooters,on january 11th. Our first practice was last Sunday. Final preparation,new piston and rings,and a set of tyres. Will it last 6 hours,I hope so. Sorry if I posted in the wrong place?? regards, von.
Hi mate, aslong as your new piston set is from a trusted manufacturer and the bike is all set up correctly then there is no reason why they shouldn't last 6 hours. Just make sure you've worn the piston in before the race or you'll be blowing up after half an hour
