Gear wheel? Do you mean the variator? The drive belt can get frayed and more grippy than it needs to be as it gets older, so you may just need to change the drive belt.
I've took it all back out and put it back together and it looks like a gear wheel and like a half a cog. The bike starts and turns but I'm not sure if if done it properly. Is there a certain way it goes back together?
"Half a gear cog" sounds like it's the kickstart quadrant. If the bike kicks over OK and it runs without making clattering noises, it's put back together fine.
I dont use the lock cos I haven't got 1 and it seem fine no noises so I think I've done it haha cheers bud
Hahahaha anoooo! Pain in the arse it is. Didn't get a chance to take the bike out before Cos of the horrible weather were having in liverpool. It reved and the wheel turn and was no unusuall noises while it was on its stand. Do you think it will be safe to ride?
