Do have a seat-lock as well (could survive an rpg),if i clocked someone/thing trying to open it..... after i finished laughing my nuts off............ .,have enough trouble opening it myself. .
my catch is knackered so I have a super secret way of opening it! pull cord woo! lucky i only keep empty greggs packets in it haha!
it was a funny and simple one! it would not clip in and stay in place! until I realised the bit where the seat clips in the cable was fed to far through! sorted now!
Have more trouble getting mine out than getting it in......;-), that's one reason i'd be laughing so hard if someone tryed jimmying it - what will they end up with (.88 imp.gallon petrol+2t oil). .
haha! I'd laugh as well if it were me there is alot of chavs who wouldn't think twice about trying at college I'd 1 laugh because theres nothing important in there then feel sorry for them after I've lamped em one! poor buggers!
any bike with no under tray is just as unsafe, ppl confuse when the under seat is for. its not a safe it storage the only reason the seat as a lock is so if you crash it dont hit you in the back as your thrown off that why it's ment to be tested on a mot
they test seat locks for mot? shit! im gonna have to tiewrap my seat down as its got no boot anyway just petrol and oil tank haha
My newest 'ped with the carrier/top box removed ,know no longer has a seat lock, I get them testing for that!,know seats basically a very free moving lump on a very easy moving hinge!. .
