Hi, Im already getting bored of my 50cc zip sp, and its not the most reliable thing on the planet.

Im looking into buying a 125, I would prefure a geared bike over another scooter, but whatever.. 2 stroke or 4 stroke doesent matter, must be extreamly reliable and quite fast.

    Anyone got some ideas?

what kind of style geared bike do you prefer?

got to be rs125, rotax 122 fuckin bullet proof for a two stroke. got to really be an arse to balls one of them up. 100mph and big and comfy and elbow down action on the way to the shops, woo haha

wrong, had a DT125R with 32,000 miles on the clock on its original crank, mains, seals and piston.

also heard of TZRs with over 70,000 on the clock.

as for hyosung, steer away from anything chineese for the next couple of years, they are getting better but te build quaility is still simelar to that of your average chocolate bar (looks and tastes nice, but dosent last).

good reliable 125 would be a cb/cg 125, fast 125 would be RS, NSR etc...

if you want a good all rounder then you have to choose 4t or 2t, 2 stroke take more looking after but are a damn site more fun.

lol, most second hand rs125s arent worth bothering with, most have been thrashed from cold, badly modified, crashed and generally abused.

after riding scooters recently, i'd say dont bother with gears until you want something bigger than 125 to be honest mate, you'll get bored of changing gear 200 times to get to the shops down the road :)

seconded, even the RD is extremely painful in traffic.

rs125 has a tall first gear for a 125, stuggle to get more than 25mph in first
it will go pop if you try it
