What Would Be a Realistic Price Suzuki Katana AY50???

Just been through the new exhaust and 70cc kit replacement on a 54 plate Suzuki AY50. Looks like he has siezed the engine now and enough is enough.

2 choices open to us.
Sell the bike as a Spares or Repair job lot. (anyone take a guess at a value?)

or

break the bike up.

Most plastics are in good condition, front fairing was replaced last year at £135 is mint. Lights, seat, wheels and tyres all in great nick so maybe a spare part value there. Exhaust a little rusty but solid (Tecnigas Revolver).

Any advice on the best course to take to recover as much as possible of the cash invested would be appreciated.

Cheers

break it for parts mate, morini engines are worthless and you will get 300 for the bike if your lucky

remove the exhaust and weigh it in fro scrap, should get more than the bike's value for it.

on a serious note though, these arent really sought after scooters, put it in at a high price and then drop to what you want, people think they are getting a bargain then.
