Support the scooter in a safe position.
    2. Remove exhaust system, and main engine pivot bolt nut using the appropriate sockets.
    3. Remove near side support spring
    4. Whilst supporting the frame slide out the main engine pivot bolt carefully and allow the engine to be lowered to access the
    silent block rubber mountings.

    5. Support engine in this position and thoroughly clean around the mountings.
    6. Offer the extractor tool sleeve with large washer on top to engine mounting inner leg housing, push the m10 bolt supplied
through the washer and rubber mounting thread the m10 nut to the end. Heat crankcase mounting lug with an electric type
heat gun to allow the cases to expand
    7. Slowly draw the rubber bush out towards the centre by tightening the nut, check the sleeve tool is central whilst proceeding.
    8. Continue until the bush is fully extracted. On later models the rubber may separate from the inner sleeve you will need to
grind the sleeve out before proceeding
    9. Repeat procedure for opposite side.
    10. Smear a light coating of bush/thread lock to the outer bush and engine mount housing and push home fully.
    11. Note before applying locking agent check that bushes are a nice sliding fit in the engine mount housing, ease housing with
emery cloth if required to achieve this.
    12. Allow to set for 30 minutes minimum.
    13. Insert inner s/s bushes into position with nylon cap washers facing outwards, no grease required. (Self-lubricating).
    14. Offer engine back up into main frame mountings line up, and slide main pivot bolt through (lightly greased). Fit end nut
    and torque to 33-41 n.m.
    15. Re- fit near side support spring and exhaust system.
    16. Stand scooter onto center stand.
    17. Remove rear shock lower mounting bolt and check up and down pivot movement, it should move freely without binding, a
small amount of stiffness is normal and should bed in after a few miles.
    18. Re-fit rear shock bolt and nut to torque setting 33-41 n.m.
