hi, im not a chav either (as this seems to be a popular phrase on here), just bored and want to do some stuff to my ped, for a laugh if nothing else. its a yamaha aerox50 2009 rossi replica and im planning on going for a 70 kit, new carb 17.5mm or 22mm, yasuni z or doppler s3r exhaust, air filter, vario blah blah.. u all know.
would be good to here similar setups from other peds and people btw doin it all my self so not too tricky or stupidly expensive only 17.. times are hard man!
ohh and would like info on the actual spec of my ped.. like carb size.. jets etc. different info from everywere = me. confused.com
hehehe jim, errm your best bet at finding what your bikes standard oils and jets etc is getting a haynes manual, or google search, and keep us updated on your project
i am about to:
fit malossi mhr kit
fit polini clutch
fit polini vairiator
fit polini blue sponge replacement filter
upjet not looking forward to this
rollers not looking forward to this
painting rear wheel + 2pac laquer, the top yoke and front wheel and handlebars have already been done
i have a haynes manual but it says different things to what other sites and people are sayin, the oils will be pretty standard for all 50's but its just the stupid jettings lol. il just whip it off and see one day
ur setup sounds like its gonna be good mate, and i know what u mean about jets and rollers :/
and seeing as valentino rossi has gone to ducatti it looks like a new body kit is in order! good times ey!
i know what mods im goin for now..
pollini 70cc kit
doppler s3r exhaust
malossi 17.5mm carb
pollini high speed variator
new rollers, !
jets to get carb right
doppler air system
evo body kit, probably bright metallic orange
parma kit 50cc wider exaust port
doppler s3r
top racing vari
3 gram rollers
pm clutch
12mm carb (i think) 76 jet standard jet im running a 80
and i can get a comfirtble 55-60 (on the speedo) without maxing it and i would stay away from doppler exhuasts cuz i just went oot to my ped to find that its blowing and iv only had it and month or two
ahh thanks for advice on exhaust, yasuni z it is nice setup mate, nice speed aswell.
im geussing my carb will be the same 76 standard jet then, i dont know whether to get a new one or upjet it a lot and get a new air filter and to match the exhaust. will be cheaper lol!
why does everyone spend time and money on parts to only fear setting them up/spending weeks fucking about/risking parts when you can just dyno the thing/pay someone else to do it?
