And to be fair yes he could could get ported sport cylinder/Pm crank/ yasuni r/ Flowed cases and the rest, Bearing in mind that would be in a range of 500 only if he knows what's hes doing, If not then a local garage will charge roughly 250 to change the crank, Then they would advise you will need the oil seals changed as while you have the chance, Then stronger crank bearings, It's alot more than just saying "Pm crank" they might be cheap to buy but remembering replacing the parts along the way aswell, it all mounts up and up, And then it will have to be well maintained
dont know but i am buyin a zip 70 it got a 70s italkit and he said it bogs after half revs he said it needs upjetting but wud i need to get a crank
wot u mean by the cases flowed i am buyin a 70 zip it has 70 italkit 21mm carb maxi air filter anthen cdi rollers polini variator and it bogs after half throttle so he said it needs upjettin wot do u think u recon it would need a new crank
Yes. I do know what I'm doing. Bearings would be replaced with the seals. Flowing is where you change the shape in the cases to allow better fuel flow Matched transfers too.
so wot should i do i dont want it if i need to upgrade the crank wot should i do wud it couse it to bog if the crank need upgrading myt be crank seal wot u think
or... Sell your zip for £500 then you have £1000 to play with for a new bike?, £1000 could get you a mint 70 with everything on it or even a 125/172, Ive seen standard typhoon 125s go for £600 and will be alot more reliable and just as fast as a highly tuned 70
How would a 125 be as fast as a high tuned 70 lmao. A 172 with a pipe/carb only has like 18-19bhp lmao. I'm going to be running as much, if not more.
Is there not a independent mechanic local to you? I'm lucky, in my village there's a fella who is amazing with bikes, and is regarding as the best fella around. He doesn't charge much so he gets a lot of business too. I stripped my engine down and bashed the old crank out (the easy bit), and he installed my PM crank and centred It for £30, plus £15 to Helicoil some dodgy threads. Sounds cheap, and it is, but since I did the dirty work it only took him half an hour, so he's still making £60 an hour.
dont go tuning a moped if your takin it to a garage then do it your self n if you dont no how teach your self in sted of a garage takin hundreds of you for doin fuk all lol
