Found this on another site : The Doppler crankshaft is made by a company called Jasil who also make the Top Racing crank, so the Top Racing crank is actually exactly the same crankshaft with a different “matt” finish to help with fuel atomization.
I'm sure you will forget it all when you get your ped back, It may take a little fettling to get spot on but the extra power and revs available will make it worth the wait.
GOOD NEWS, finally! hes got the bike started, he said it starts easily, but he also said i might set car alarms off because there's no resistors in the ignition any more, hopefully get it back tomoz or monday, hes just putting bigger jet in the carb and then we are done!!
Sorry mate, but reading through this, i'd want the stupid mechanic to be payin me for taking the absolute p**s and quite clearly not knowing what hes doing, its a joke that hes had it for over a month just to fit a few parts, I would be fuming!
it been over 2 months ha, and i am angry but whats the point in being angry, just have to look forward to getting it back
Yes true but as others in this post have said you need to be careful of what he is going to charge, because there has been no fixed price you have basically give him your bike to do whatever work on he wants with no price limit, I made the same mistake and ended up paying 200£ just to have a new clutch fitted
Whats point in being angry ? The guys taking u for a mug if i was u i would have taken the bike away from his shop time ago but guess everyones not like me but like u said aslong as it works its good just hope it dont break on u agen
i hope it doesnt break too, and the reason i didnt take it back is because it would be just sitting in my garden in bits and it wouldnt ever get done,, and if it does break thinking of getting a 125,, any ideas, i was thinking, yamaha yzf or aprilia rs
Are you familiar with geared bikes? because if you've never rode a geared bike before I wouldnt start on a yzf or an rs, just sounds like a deathwish to me
id get a 4 stroke geared bike coz the 2 strokes are just complete shite unless u like the buzzings of a 2 stroke which am personally not into n genereally 4 strokes last longer
It's hard to find a 2 stroke 125 these days, if your buying brand new anyway. pretty much all brand new 125's are 4 stroke, easiest way to tell the difference these days is look for a kick start, if its got a kick start, its most likely a 2 stroke, if its not got a kick start, its definitely a 4 stroke!
my ols gsxr 250 4t would max out at 65mph stock..... my cagiver mito 125 2t would do 90mph stock..... 2t all the way untill you cant get then then 600.
unlike my ktm 4t that has a kick start.... rs 50/125 2t, mito 50/125 2t, planet 50/125 2t = no kick start must be 4 strokes right????? 99% of good brand well made ROAD bike that are not endure type will have no kick start. that comment was the biggest load of shit i have seen in a long time.
i prefer a 2 stroke for the speed, i have a kawasaki kx 100 crosser, and thats quicker than any 125's because of the powerband
I was stating in most cases, I didnt say all bikes without a kick are a 4 stroke and all bikes with a kick are a 2 stroke. I meant the majority of 2T have a kick and the majority of 4T dont have a kick
