yeah, i lime the am6 engine, much better made. derbis are ok, but they cut corners in making them which makes them bad, like the wheel bearings for example, they dont have dust seals, so the bearings go really fast. you got standard pipe on the rs?
couldn't agree more scuba , my senda was nothing but trouble since the day i had it , after the first week of riding it the small end bearing was rattling really bad so i rebuilt the top-end , then the front fork seals went , then the speedo cable , then the rear shock , then the 2 stroke pump o-ring split and then the gear box started leaking lol . my rs has a chrome derestricted endy sports exhaust with a twin end can , uprated chain and sprockets , and i changed the carb from the crappy dellorto sha 14 to a dellorto phbn 12 , running a little rich lately due to weather conditions so going give it a good going over on the upcoming weekend
ive known a guy who did 40000 km on a standard senda, probably the only one on the planet! rich is good, my bike can run another pike on the exhaust fumes its so rich, and my car, well... still using a 420 chain or is it a bigger one?
that was probably the only well built senda they made lol , and yeah mine is spluttering really badly currently and wont go into the power band so its being stripped this week , i believe it is still a 420 chain
