This morning I did the mindless stuff. It is 1:35PM here now, so I am back to as normal as I get.
My real job is getting rid of my earthly possessions I do not need and getting this freaking condo ready for sale.
I can do that with a hang over with out issue. I seem to have done it before.......... I think.

Turbovetto: Gonna have to re- name this post 'what do you do your noggin'.....
I stepped all over the RAGE post, so I created this post to ramble on free form. Mark was so kind to let me know I was walking on another's lawn.
This one is open... We can also have 'what you do to your noggin' posts here.

No worry about stepping on this post. I was actually hoping someone more interesting than me would run off with it.

    You are a gentleman, sir!
On a protective note, a buddy of my brother's went for a spin on her Harley, lost it on the gravel and had to get pizza treatment. The lads bought her a T shirt:

I hate when the nurse comes at you with those blue scrub brushes and the Hibiclens scrub.
Leathers or the new synthetics for sure.
I am a Kevlar freak after last years spill for sure.
The jacket looked like it had been attacked by a bear.
My skin was intact, no road rash, nothing.
    I like Kevlar mesh........

I am a skateboarder. I can't land on my head and I fondle the nipples of road rash and put ice cubes in her knickers. But I'd like to try some 'vlar.

Probably not cool to skate with gear... watch out.
All that stuff you hurt now, will hurt double when you get older.
Mother Nature has a way of reminding us how foolish we were with our bodies when we get older.
    Oh well.

Lol. 43 and skateboarding.... The trick is to not stop......
Right about the gear. But pads give you confidence on big terrain. Pools and vert. Going off topic!

I only keep the helmets that have history. If it saved my head, I generally keep it around for a while to show off the scars that are on the helmet, not my head.

Will only be keeping the old, pure & simply as a
    "just in case" spare.,
    this present one,is just a shorterm stop-gap-
really fancyed a open-face for the moment,as really getting off on having that windblast in the face, envigorating, ain't felt as alive like this in ages.,
getting f/face a little further on & this new un,will become the secondary.;) .

Modulars are nice. Can be both full face and open face. They cost though.
Me, I am keeping my chin. Full face for me no matter how nice the weather is. That is why the face shield goes up :)

There is a Bell helmet on display at the local shop. Full face, it was black. The helmet has pavement marks on all 360 degrees and a flat spot on back where the rider slid to a stop. That helmet was worth the money. The rider is alive and is a mechanic at the local place.

his lid was split right down the middle, cause he had a large aerial, saved his life/so to speak.....

Early on Bell were the best. Still a premium brand. Now there are government standards so all helmets are better now days. I buy the best fit with all the specs. I keep to the major brands, but I buy for the fit. It does no good if you see it flying off your head just before you hit the ground.
