    Seems,same goes with manners nowadays-
some of the s..t you see people getting up to/or not, practically makes you want to go up to them and shake them senseless.;) .

Open face = ground off chin. Seen it in the ER.
Only full face for this old man.

Well I would rather not fall off at all. When I fall again, and I will, I hope I am better protected than last time.
Pretty soon I will need a special X-Ray for air travel due to the metal in my body.
Every male member of my family has metal in his body due to a motorcycle accident except one, and he is gay.
The gay one may be the smart one.

It made travel difficult for my Dad. He had a silver plate in his knoggin from a racing accident.
The two of us traveling together, forget it. We were a terrorist team on X-Ray.

Sadly, never made the Steve Austin league.:(.,
only augment i've been saddled with,is a permanent gauze, holding my n...s in place,
after towing 1/2 tonne of scrap-metal,on a bread crate for a 1/4 mile.,
the limits of stiches in those parts, becomes very apparent, veeeery quickly..

I actually lied... "We are motorcycle racers". He was a motorcycle racer, and I was a motorcycle crasher. Oh well. It gave us something in common. Pain and fear.

Sadly... are you nuts. Pain and fear should not be underestimated. I was in pain and afraid for hours. The Steve Austin Club is nothing you want admittance to.
There is nothing to be proud about a Dodge turning in front of you. You just hit it. The rest is inertia. Every thing goes fine until you hit something solid. Then it starts to get hinkey. I hate realizing the guy screaming is me.

Not nuts as such, realistic more like.that there's always the possibility of accidents happening when you ride, and very appreciative in myself that I know this can happen, and have a natural desire to get back on.,
of course can be dependant on the person, how they might relay that,no doubt an attitude/perception has been created by that view.,
One of my greatest, all time sadnesses.has been to see riders, who've had an accident (big/small) -
an swear off riding ever again,
    confident,i can take a knock,
but not totally cracked or looking for it.;) .

An the 'hinkey' bit on an impact.....
time stood still, was hyper aware,a lifetime happened in a second, never saw with such clarity,
NOTHING I could do about it-
'cept close my eyes,an hope for the best..........

Like the helmet. It will keep you alive, and looking cool at the same time.

We had a wake for my old cat last night. I posted drunk on 18 year old scotch and after a party for an old cat. Glad I did not get both my feet in my mouth. I know they fit. I have seen me do it.

Now I am outgassing scotch from every pour, my head hurts. I need water and coffee. Lots of coffee.

Good damn thing I work for myself, or I would fire me.

I like nothing better than good scotch! I don't suffer from it though, which is a good and a bad thing........

I just get on with it and feel a bit sleepy at around 4 in the afternoon. But I am weird. Sport is a good idea. Turns bad fatigue into good. Lots of fizzy springwater. In fact I like a glass of San Pelegrino next to my Bushmills Single Malt!
No ice in the whisky, thanks.
Gonna have to re- name this post 'what do you do your noggin'.....

lasted to 93,still had an afternoon tipple, pretty much right up to his passing, least when his mind was'nt visiting different decades,
after's,lots of water, vitamins & when the spark starts up again, excercise, low to medium to high.;) .
