that's a very well justified comment :bird:

Personally i think the SR isbetter looking and you don't have to piss about with nrg forks, gilera wheels etc... to make them look good.

the typh however is probably slightly lighter and possibly easier to wheelie, but after wheelying a runner you should have no problem on either.

technically you dont have to fit wheels/forks to a typh.. just loose the ORIBLE stock tyres that put most people off

why dont ya invite ben round for tea n biscuits, and let him test ride both?

    problem solved

personally id go with the typh, theyre similar to a gilera stalker and ive also rode an sr50, stalker handling is well fun lol, sr dont seem so good round corners (least not as good as me aerox) :punk:

sr 50 and 125 are totally different chassis and engine mounting system, in my opinion the sr125 handles a hell of a lot betterthan the 50

Yeah SR's arent too good round corners IMO. Runners have an advantage there.

I would honestly say forget the SR's and Typhs and get yourself a well maintained Stock Runner 125.

He was more like looking for a list of advantages and disadvantages for owning different bikes. E.g. are they easy to get parts, easy to do work on, cheap to fix, fuel tank size, handling, etc etc. Not "Get this because its great!!!!"

    Never mind!

They are the same engines, Parts - they are the 3/4 most popular bikes, Im sure he knows what the score is with them?

I said stock 125 because of the luck with his current bike. Never mind!

His problems havn't been with things such as performance parts dieing. Well apart from his scorp. They have been with the general shitness of runners. ;)

runners are far too heavy and long for corners, you chuck the front end in and if it dosn't stick you in the nearest hdgerow, then 3 corners later your rear end is stillin the first turn.

    owned one, hated it.

    each to their own.

handleing wise runners are WANK and i agree with what wobbly has just said about the handleing on a runner

both bikes are good ben.. personally i would prefer the typh..but sr125's look sick with certain mods... but reliability wise i cant comment because ive never owned either one
