and agree it does take more then lyrics to make a good tune....

but then ask your self how much of the tune is the person spitting responsible for other then the lyrics?

the beat no,
the engineering no,
they might of not even come up with the concept for all we know (look in the credits of a album a tunes if often written by more then one person).

you asked me to define good bars, and i guess to a degree there is no set standard for what's good, as musics and opinion based entertainment form.

imo :
word play, creativity, punch lines, rhyme schemes, flow, poetic attributes (alliteration etc), depth, delivery, style, originality, etc etc

and yes iv listen to more then that tune and enough to form an opinion,
i don't need to "try hard to find things to wrong about him",
you acting like a women and assuming there is hidden meaning, or more meant by what some one says rather then taking it for words worth ,
i simlpy said he was over rated and spits as simply as talking in that posted tune.

i wouldn't say its difficult ever,
you say ghettos hard to understand in that track, and i think generally because of the pace he spits at not every one will pic up on every word, which is a fawl in his style, but i think he has enough pros to make up for that,

if a mc has a simple style,(lets say... dj ironic) but doesn't have any good bars then its pretty pointless hearing what he can say init?
