Right, just an update on the bike, it is a bit of a mess now, needs a bit of tlc to get it back up to standard now, I am the new owner of it so expect a new project page for this bike. I am not planning on much, but you will see..

Well..heres how she stands at the moment, the right hand switch gear is broken and hanging off, the petrol gauge doesn't work, speedo doesnt work, and all on the left hand side the paint has come off because the previous owner managed to get petrol all down it. Oh and the bellypan is cracked.

Luckily I have ordered new switch gear and a speedo cable and a bellypan.
Any ideas on the petrol gauge situation would be helpful.

the petrol gauge thing , my was one is also fooked :(, where the petrol gauge float thing in the tank and connets the three wires to the rest of the loom, cut them wires and touch them together , when you touch the right two wires the gauge on the clocks will go up, then you know it's the float thing in the tank. a new one from ebay is loike 9 quid. thats how i'v just my one anyway
