I didn't say that it was a part. I said that I thought that it kicked in when it reaches its optimum revs.

Edit: Oooh, so for the powervalves, I have seen things called power blades or summit? Are they just like aftermarket powervalves?

yup.. the powervalve simply changes the timiong so the powerband starts lower in the revs and so can be geard longer where a manual box is used as it can pulkl happily from 3k for instance then opens out at 7k to 13..

fuck all use on an auto tho

Hmm very intresting minor what kind of crosser barrels would fit dt125 etc. I gues by makeing the power valve fully open all the time you have large exhaust duration this would give a narrow power band wouldnt it? this would then be a verry good thing as being a auto it can be setup to bite there sounds verry interesting but would the transmition be up to it?

get a 54mm crank and whack in a rd 350 barrel , i belive they have a 54mm stroke length, then youve got a 40bhp+ beast!!!!

not quite.... rd is a twin engine so each barrel is 175cc and the port map is easily layd on a 172.

stroke doesent have to be equal.. can space.cut to increase/decrease the stroke area of any barrel.. so shorter stroke is never a prob

dosent have to use the same stroke crank.

hence minor was on about base plates.

but all the ports would have to be fucked with
