    Would think the difference between having a full or provisional in regards to insurance-
    on a modified bike / would be astronomical. ;) .

    Yeah I suppose insurance is really dull and boring, until you really need it and you find out that you haven't got any, because it's void.

    Some people just have to learn the hard way.

    Having a full licence demonstrates competence and they take that into account with a lower premium.
