and so did I with my standard clock when I had a similar setup. Your doing about 40-45 not 50. Speed fight clocks are about 5-10mph out. Get some koso clocks and when tell me your speed. .
i have an nrg a/c it has an exhaust and lighter rollers and the digi clock says 50 flat out on a flat
mines slow but i like my ped, 37 mph - 42mph i used to get 45-47mph downhill but thats de tiriorated over the past few months lmao, i do beleve some people but i had to laught because someone pulled up at the trafiic lights the other day and said to me ill race ya, said whatever you say, how fast can you do like. he said 110 flat out and all i did was de restrict it, its a 50cc btw and i said haha yer 110kms haha, tosser i left him and hs was sooooooo slow haha :good:
My PGO T-REX 50 with nothing other than a tecnigas exhaust on it will do 44mph (Sat Nav speed) Clock speed about 48mph and thats on a 'normal weather day' - Headwind diffrent story all together
Hi my old skool zip rst 1998 use to do 45 speedo speed now fitted nathan 70 sports head on does 48plus but slow after about 48 mph
I think its more about acceleration to brag about to be fair yeah some can go 60-70 downhill but sadly everywhere isnt down hill and the time it takes you to reach that a ped with good acceleration will be gone
My old Piaggio NRG did a true 72mph with a full Malossi MHR Race Spec engine, the Clock use to almost all the way around and back to the stop, I don't even think most of the digital scooter speedos are accurate past 30mph.
that will be why, you need a new exhaust mate standard ones majority of the time kill the power the 70 can be giving out
My 180 runner does 85 been tuned though Kevlar belt 8.4 rollers , started of life as a 125 vx then I saw a mint 180 Vxr write off for 300 pound I was like bargain !!! Then u noe what happened next the micron slip on made such a difference though sounds like a fucking beast !
Really? Somethings Set Up Wrong Somwhere... My Aerox With Setup Below Has Touched 74mph On dyno Figures, And 71 Being followed by a someone on an SV650... Also A Mate Of Mine With An SR50 With Just A Yasuni Pipe Does around 60 At Clock Speed, So Take Away 5mph..
It was all set up perfectly. The gearing was the reason for it being soo slow. Just put a malossi gear up kit in and it now reaches 50-53mph. That's with the standard carb(12.5mm). Don't forget speedfight = Peugeot engine. On a sports setup pug engines are lucky to reach the hp figures of a piaggio engine with a sports exhaust. So are much slower. Oh and I have a mate who has speedfight 100 with just a Doppler exhaust on that'll do about 85mph. Really it does around 65-70. Clocks are always off and 60 on a 50 clock is really about 50mph.
speedfight 100s, with a Malossi 120 kit, case flowed with 25mm carb, stage six induction and reeds, open air filter, PM tuning 50 exhaust, the expensive one, not the 360, Multivar variator, gear up kit, do not even reach 75mph gps. Tuning air cooled pugs is a frustrating business and a waste of time and money, admittedly they end up with some low down power, but nothing a piaggio 125 with a pipe couldn't manage. A guy with the above spec, apart from a 21mm carb, made 9bhp on shiny's dyno, after Shiny checking the set up. Admittedly his dyno reads low, but as a comparison, 70cc Piaggios with a half hearted tune have seen that, a well set up 172cc made 19bhp. I had a 100/120 and threw the towel in, I had to break it to get most of my money back, or I would be well out of pocket. I think the design of the scooter is great, shame they didn't give it an engine to match.
