Timing chain guide

So basically building a Speedfight 3 engine
After doing a full rebuild I looked on my tool kit and realised I forgot to put in the lower timing chain guide! Still has the top one (tensioner) just the lower guide missing
What will happened without it? Is it possible to run without lower guide
(Iknow it’s there for a reason and for the sake of it I should put it back in but it’s a scrap engine anyway that will be probably going in one of my quad frames just for fun so don’t really care if it’s breaks just wanted to know if it’s possible to run it without as it still has the tensioner slide and missing the guide slide then I’m guessing il get end up with a rattle from the chain

 

It has the potential to flap around and jump off the teeth on crank gear, it's only a 5 min job to fit.
