you've just reminded me that my dad got rid of a front aerox rim at weekend, he took it to the tip :w00t: it could have been chromied imp: what wheels you got lying about?
 they would look mint specially the SR ones! im going to powdercoat mine with gloss black and red glitter imp: only when weather picks up a bit and temperature rises coz otherwise electricity bill to keep them warm would be mad.
yeah well there just not the same as them chrome ones if only you was my best mate lol cudnt believe you said that before
can i just stress, THESE ARE NOT CHROMED!!!!!! sorry had to get that off my chest. chroming is an electrolosis based form of plating, polishing is, well polishing.
Well it come up the same as my tranny case that I done before the wheels, you've probabaly already seen them........but whilst we are on the subject.. imp: Obviously a bit different design but they polish up just as easy (I say easy lol...you know how long it takes) as the wheels
found the wheels, not had time to sort them with weather and land-rover alternators among a few other bits but might start messing about early next week to see what i can come up with.
ok, made a start today, obviously i will get rid of the slight imperfections in the rim, only had time for a small mockup and i'm waiting for a linisher for my power polisher so there's no depth in the rims at the moment but there's no reason i can't get them to a mirror like finish. I'm thinking £40 to have this done with the rim in the colour of your choice (£45 if you want it laquering afterwards) per wheel these will be a week turnround so may be able to do an exchange scheme, let me know what you want. prices based on scooter wheels, bike wheels may cost more (bigger wheels)
