Does that mean he's passed his test in a car, or that he's found a new way to hoon around? Does he know that if he scores six points in the first year of passing his test, he'll be off the road? From your descriptions of the way he behaves on the road it won't take long.

The talking high-security alarm, new black belly pan, the lower handlebar fairing, a few more chrome badges and the 6mm Dell'Orto jet kit arrived today.

I also scored an almost-new pair of biker boots for £15 via Gumtree - bargain! My old boots had long gone as they were well past it, but I want to be properly protected when I'm on the bike.

hes just found a new way to hoon around.
he doesn't have a licence anymore. I wont let him ride anymore. if he gets caught, he gets caught. his own fault.

ive worked hard to become legal. hes just a twat. he rocked up in a ford KA today and was like - look at ma new carrrr.
he paid £190 for it apparently.

its ok. if I see it parked outside mums while im in one of works trucks, ill just take the thing.

Just let the ANPR cameras take care of it, as he won't be insured without a licence and it's likely not to have MOT or Tax for what he paid.

It's better that the Dibble take it off him, mahoosively bollock him and point out his twattery via a day in court, than you get into family feuds about it.

hell carry on. hes recently told me hes been disqualified from driving for quite some time when I thought he had a provisional + CBT. he doesn't give a flying fuck. if I did that shit id get a right bollocking off my stepdad, but he already knows and is just leaving him to it. FFS!
ive told him that he best hide it good cos im gonna take it and take it round to the scrapyard. he knows what im like. without a licence you haven't received the training and met certain standards to say that you are a safe and compentent user of the roads therefore you should not be on the roads. not only do I now hold a full UK driving licence, ive completed two separate advanced driving courses including going onto a skid pan, passed pass plus and Ive got the trailer category. I now hold a full UK bike licence which I passed with no minors first time. if I were to go out without insurance I can guarantee id be stopped. but twats like him take months and months to get caught. hate it.

Find his car, but don't nick it. Just drain the oil out and leave it for him to drive it - for about a quarter of a mile before it spills it's guts or implodes.

The new tyres have arrived, as well as the carb cable adjuster that will allow me to use the Gurtner cable with the Dell'Orto carb. I also bought a spare Dell'Orto oil pump for £3 off Fleabay.

I'm waiting for tyre valves, the upper handlebar fairing, the bodywork kit from Germany, the indicators and a few small bits and bobs, then the rebuild can begin.

I'll get the paint and lacquer later this week once the panels arrive.

Took the mirrors off the V/C,wasted an armful of toothbrushes on the 'inside' of the c70's frame - may have discovered a source of new wheels for the 70,in the U.K.,negating issues relating to ordering from overseas (poss.£60-70 cheaper),though early days.as making sure, totally the right ones (f.sites closed till tomm. grrrrrrrr.

    very sad day for me.
    triumph up for sale.
went over my finances today, cant afford to keep the car and a bike on the road until mid next year, car has to come first as we will need the car more and more as trumpalot gets bigger and bigger. its up for £5,500 with tax and MOT. £1k will go on building something special (going back to scooters as of next year) slowly over the next 8 months.
jog was collected today. hopefully triumph sells real soon.

The new indicators arrived today. Tomorrow is the day that the body kit should arrive from Germany. No sign of the handlebar top fairing or tyre valves yet and the local Motor World shop that I used to order the number plate must be having it lovingly hand crafted on Mars, it's taking so bloody long.

the triumph has been sold :(
atleast I know it has gone to a good owner though, the bloke saw it online and fell in love with it and had to have it apparently :)

now thinking it might be worth stripping the italjet right down to the frame and cleaning/painting/redoing absolutely everything myself.

Ordered the 2 side bulbs+spare.for the headlight & no.plate bulb+spare, then thought...when in Rome.;). - avoided the Chinese branded ones, even though having a ten pack of any of them for a pack of fag papers may have been financially attractive.,
get my forks on the 9th,final (ish) piece of the puzzle.phew.o_O....
before I start,be loading up shopping trolley, sat.week, with both sets of wheels& having a push over Tower Bridge and getting tyres + disc swapped over, only thing left now is,x2 sockets+headrace adjuster+ grips.:).

I've had a bit of a piss about in Paint tonight and I came up with this as a possible badge for my project. The font is intended to match the old style Peugeot badges that I bought recently.

I've got some aluminium sheet that's about 3mm thick and I might have a go at trying to cut that logo out and if I can make a decent fist of it, I'll polish it up and lacquer it to stop it tarnishing. if it really looks the part, that will really screw with people's heads as to what my bike is.
