    They're tubeless yes. The rear one cost me £7 to have fitted and the front I bought was already mounted on a rim. Decided in the end not to fit my own.

    Never fitted tubeless /self,heard it's a bit of a c..t to do,got the early MOT up July 30 an even though rear is fine...decided,i'll alway's replace tyres as a set,for safety+uniform wear......costly in the long run maybe,but rather have the assurance of playing it safe.;).

    Well the runner has gone, back to it's happily grinning like a cheshire cat owner. Parted with the money without any hestitation, strangely enough, also put him slightly lighter rollers in, struggled a bit past 40mph, put 5.5gr in and it pulls nicely all the way.

    @Merlin
    Quite right, no wheelies with the new gear-up, it wants to mind, can feel the front coming up ever so slightly, bit boggy on takeoff though, so going to drop the roller weight from 4.59gr to 4.30gr and see what happens.

    The fxr i did yesterday has come back to haunt me, went out great last night, he went to work on it great, coming home from work it lost most of its power, bogging like stupid mad, will not reach full throttle even with the wheel off the ground, and the exhaust is getting scary hot!
    Mystified.

    My zip has the exact same issues currently, hoping to get it looked at by someone who knows more than me tomorrow.

    done a compression test? sounds stupid but could it be worn rings?
    air leak?

    Compression test will be done tomorrow, not sure about the rings, but I've no air leak checked all pipes and filter, cleaned the filter, carb, recently had a new fuel line and filter and so on.

    Start touch of a button, ticks over fine, apply revs and it just starts bogging, also like Steve said my exhaust is getting really really hot within a couple of minutes.

    I've done the compression test on the fxr, 105psi, but dont know what it's supposed to be so have no guide lines to work to. Stripped the carb, blown through with compressed air, new spark plug and cap, replaced the intake manifold gaskets. It had a 105 main jet in it yesterday when it went out and was going great. Maybe a little hesitant on the takeoff, but within 30 yards would fly. Thought then that it could maybe go up or down 1 or 2 sizes to get it nice and crisp, and that was the plan for this coming saturday. But what its doing now, wont even get into the power band with the wheel off the floor.
    Before i strip the head off i need to know what the compression should be.
    I know anything above 90 is ok for a 50cc two stroke, but a 180 two stroke might be diferent, I need the info. Searching at the moment.

    id say it should be around 120psi at a guess, might be worth posting up in a separate thread, maybe ask somebody on here running a 180 kit on there bike what there compression is at?

    I think maybe a compression chart may be a good idea, such as what it should be, what your scoot will perform best at etc etc

    The Malossi MHR rep i did a couple of weeks ago on an NRG gave me a reading of 125psi, thats why i'm thinking that 105psi on this 180 is too low.

    Id be looking for around 140 personally. It depends on the set up and kit on the bike. Ill ask boss later and see what he thinks, hes installed a good few so i imagine he would know.
