Anyway guys, I've bought a used back and front panel, front just needs respray, back needs sanding down from where the scratches was filled and resprayed. Any how, least these don't have cracks, scratches and so on.

I think its money well spent, didn't really want to spend a lot on them as I've other things I need sorting too, but when you think of how much money i'd of spent of making the cracks alone half decent, I could of just put £20 extra towards and got both panels :)

Anyone any ideas on making my forks tidy? Most know by now, I ride a zip 125 4t, it has the one sided forks, and they are really weathered, paint flaking off and such, but work perfectly, they'll just look a bit odd when theres freshly painted no cracked plastics on :D

Sounds about right, luckily shouldn't be too hard with it only been one sided and basically its only the bottom end where the brake and such is, got a few tools to buy to get the crank casing off so I can paint that too. Oh and treated all the tiny rust marks so they can be sprayed over(frame that is)

OH and panels should be here at the weekend :D

That is one old ped mate, luckily for me, even though they stopped making the 125 a long time ago, the 50's and such panels fit straight on :p

Strangely enough just been looking at the zip to see if i can make some for that. Alas, the off-cuts i have are not that wide for the footboard.
But they are wide enough for the runner and my Katana, sooooo............

Oh hell, another dilemma now, just opened the boxes for the new carbs i ordered, i asked for two 17.5mm performance carbs..............they sent me two 21mm!
It says 17.5mm on the box label but they're not.
Now then, my zip.........pm tuning 70cc kit, malossi multivar 2000 variator, malossi exhaust, gear-up kit and currently 17.5mm dellorto on it.
Wonder how it will act with a 21mm on it.
Same for the Katana........70cc kit, malossi variator, stage 6 exhaust, gear-up kit and a 19mm mikuni copy.

Did this over past few days.Only drawback with removing the u section of the stinger and the curved silencer tip is the pipe is twice as loud when cruising on part throttle just below the powerband. Once accelerating hard or off the throttle the noise level is about the same as standard.
