i loved mine, was my baby, never missed a beat had just shy of 19000 on the clock (id clocked it once but might of done more), did everything i wanted it to, got me to and from college and work, did a 40 mile round trip every other day, wheelied it a few times (after i did belt and rollers), used to take my ex on the back when i met her at the bus stop and took her home until she passed her driving test, did wales and back on it (200 mile round trip) used it as a workhorse and literally carried half of my tools under the seat when i went out to work on friends cars, did everything and never had a problem with it, loved every second of riding it :) well worth it.

Might mull it over till sat.,
I would say doubtful though.something about it,gotta red flag popping up!,
1st vision, electrically perfect, melody not so- fairly certain was an import (30kph restriction!!!)-(indies,semi-professional splice)
May seem silly, but ne's light's all integral with bodywork,ns not and this sa's not.....would say they've been added or not standard according to uk model.if only it were local for inspection, fairly good with following standard electrical acc.to guide, but mods clueless me............

actually the sa50 with the external indicators is the better one, its not a mod, the one with the indicators flush always had a issue with the rear panel lining up when removed to replace indicator bulbs which blew in mine twice, the external indicators have always been fine, never heard anyone moan about them/have any issues with them and i was going to convert to them before i crashed it.... want another sa50 now lol

Well today I get 3(yes three) letters from MCE claiming I had failed to pay my insurance on time and if I did not pay by the said date they'd cancel my policy, this isn't the first time they've pulled this shit on me. Last month they pulled the same crap, so I told them it wasn't my fault as I'd clearly had the funds waiting for them, they just never took them...long story short, I end up paying them over the phone and them saying they'd send another direct debit out to sign, so me been me I think OK, i'll sign job done.

So, like I said, I signed and sent it back. 1 Month later there pulling the same shit again, so off to the bank I go..Find out there is no direct debit, standing order or so on for MCE..

So basically, they've now twice failed to set up a direct debit or such as I first signed when agreeing to the policy then signed another a month ago. Oh did I forgot to mention they also are expecting me to pay the £25 late payment fee although it's naff all to do with me? Well, quite frankly I've had enough of MCE's crap the past couple of months over something there administration could of easily solved if they did there jobs correctly. So looks like I'll be looking for another company(about to go hit up the insurance thread for best companies to go with) So MCE can cancel my policy and stick it where the sun don't shine for all I care. If anyone's any suggested companies then let me know.

they did exactly the same with me, theyll force you to pay up one way or another now. weather its your fault or not. long story short i owe them £110 which im now paying off £2.50 per month just to drag it along to piss them off. they threatened me with balliffs, i threatend them with my solicitor, they called my bluff, my solicitor got intouch, they took me to court and i was just told to pay up the £110. well im paying up arent i  i could just pay it off up front within a day or two but naaahhh.
ive been with a good few insurance companies and i have to say so far, the best ones have been with are swinton. only had a issue at beggining regarding them getting the direct debit letter late, but all sorted straight away over the phone, UK call centres with nice friendly staff, brother failed to make payment on time, explained why, just paid two months, the next time the monthly payment was due, theyre pretty cheap too. £180 fully comp for a 19 year old with no no claims, recentish accident, a ongoing claim and points.

Get a approved security products list from your insurer,
Lie your arse off where you park it overnight-
Location/postal code is a biggie as well;insurance in the main being risk assesment,
    Any official/approved riding skills courses,
be careful about the designation you give them about your job.

£180 a year though my job helps lower it a bit, so does my security, the fact the scooter is datatagged and only does 3500 miles per year..
though i got a quote for the BMW f650 with modifications + all my security stuff for £350 fully comp, think i got lower but £350 was with swinton, all depends on location, bike, security and your driving history.

I park it in the garage overnight, location well, most likely doesn't help, lol.
    I've only my CBT(so far..)
And I am basically self employed right now, although that seems to make it even higher, I randomly put that I was a painter and decorator and it dropped by £15 through MCE.
I also only do around 3000 miles a year, although that doesn't seem to help, hell I even tried to put the value of the ped at £200, lol.

MCE are mugs, wanted to charge me 500£ to insure my aerox at 21 years old. I found a cheaper quote at 149 quid a year , and Mce kept ringing me to try get me to take out a policy with them. Glad I didn't they sound like a right bunch of mediocre dickheads. Lol

Like I might have said previously, insurance is mostly about risk based assessment,
most of your post.you won't be able to do jack about/part from being 'flexible'....but plausible about your job title,
    However line 3,is a biggie-
You wait a while, then get your CBT-
from an insurance broker's point of view,if that's all you've done, they will take the perspective/that you have'nt taken charge of ensuring that you will be a better rider in the long run by possibly doing something pro-active/i.e.rider training, law pertaining to riding otr or even something as simple as a basic motorcycle maintenance course,
basically if you're willing to put an effort in ,you can alter their perceptions about how much of a risk you are,
DO NOTHING,when you could be doing something-
    Else get charged accordingly.;) .
