painted variator cover and rear shock - yes they were taken off before being painted.
    WP_20140315_009.jpg
then the fan cover and exhaust got done - the fan cover got taken off but the exhaust didnt, it was sprayed with VHT paint.
    WP_20140315_012.jpg
then that black panel under the seat got redone black - it was scratched to fuck and the spark plug cover is red for now.
    WP_20140315_014.jpg
painted the little side bottom under floorboard panels.
    WP_20140315_015.jpg
then the actual side panels and reffitted them and its kind of done.

yeah it is lol, usually £4.90 for a can that seems to last me ages lol, ive still got half a can of red left and i was only using the one black and one red can. got them for £3.20 each so im not moaning. its not the best job ever and up close you can see imperfections but for my commuter its good enough.

nope, its me mums garden. she doesnt care a fat lot. shell just get my stepdad to get the jetwash out or reslab it if the jetwash doesnt work. shes been looking for a excuse to have the garden redone anyway lol plus im getting away with murder right now :D

Ah, may need to go grab some myself to do the zip once fairings are repaired.

Don't think my black poundland spray paint will cut it... lol, Doesn't look bad on my frame tho :p and the primer is great for a quid haha.

i used to use poundland paint. cant knock it. OK for what it costs lol. i go poundland for my sandpaper and cable ties. cant get them anywhere else as cheap and pointless getting the expensive stuff when i use so many cable ties haha

Oh, I didn't see the sandpaper and cable ties, off back up on Monday for some, oh and some masking tape!

I love that poundland is a stone throw away :)

Any reason you left the exhaust on to spray it? Don't think I seen what it looked like before, mine is a rusty piece of poo :p

ive got no gaskets and the top end has just been rebuilt by a local bike place so i really didnt want to take it off, it was rusty as fuck, light go over with my step dads drill (ive killed my two makita drills) and a wire brush on it. then covered everything else and gave it a good spray with VHT/barbecue paint stuff from wilko lol now all i really need to do is get a new spark plug cap (the bike places temp bodge is doing the job for now but still need a cap) and a airbox :)

Ah, I've just got my exhaust bolts and screws, need to buy a gasket or paper, then i'll be set to paint the exhaust at least, hope it comes out half as decent as yours looks, lol. Never really tried to spray anything to look "decent" before, lol.

Hope my pvc cement doesn't take ages so I can fix my back panel :D

Take a look at my thread asking the best way to repair them, the back panel has a massive crack lol.

@Subw00fer, thanks, Think I may order myself one of those :) Do you have any text around the boarder? (at the bottom)

Edit: Never mind, Zoomed in on the image you have no boarder or text :)

get a scrap piece of plastic, its repairable with some practise, a skill worth learning.

Maybe I'll learn it, just not on something I am looking to repair to a decent state, I'd hate to make it worse haha.
