    Ok.
Not the same build. But still a cub so it will be in this thread.
Today I removed the "50cc" engine from the white cub

    They are so different.

The 190 is a bit heavier too. Like maybe 20kg more.

However it doesn't bolt right in.
    It nearly does.

But 2 things need to be modified.
    1. the breather pipe needs to be removed along with the spigot thing.
    2. The top of the casing needs about 3 to 5mm trimmed off as it also hits the frame.
Thats a job for another day.
I did all this in less than an hour...

As you see I needed to grind a tad off.
    So out with the dremel

The next step is to swap the mag coils over so I have the same connection. Oh and make up a new starter and main earth cable.
I may need to make a throttle cable too.
I have a clutch lever to fit along with a cable.
The shorty exhaust fouls the starter. So im going to use the pipe from the other bike.

    The big question.
Will I get the legshield back on?

    So.
The charging coils swapped right over as did the pickup coil and neutral switch.

    IMG_20190213_003014.jpg

The carb will only fit forward facing with no room for a filter, so I will make a screen filter and or a carb spinner.

    IMG_20190213_010421.jpg IMG_20190213_010505.jpg

    So yeah.
Clutch is connected to a makeshift lever.
    Ready to go really.

    To do:
    Chain on.
    Footrests.
    Exhaust.
Make a proper clutch and switches.

Solution maybe to the carb issue?
The filter would stick through the leg shield though I think

Maybe a pancake filter would solve that problem though, reckon the carb would need re-jetting as well

I think its set up to run with no filter.
I like the idea of a screen filter though.

Looking at the mouth of that carb, it looks like it's got the shoulder for an air filter.
And given your ponchant for going "off-road"...........
Maybe a different manifold, one that points 45 degree upwards and forward could put the carb at a better angle to take a filter without fouling anything, but it might have a fueling issue at higher revs due to the angle...............or a down draught carb maybe.........
Brains running away with me now.............

Ok. I have the footrests on.
    One less thing to do.
Found a terminal to do the starter wires.

Found out the problem. The pickups were slightly different. Swapped over. Strong spark.

    Yes.
    Test rode it.
    Bloody hell its fast.
So much torque for a small cc single. Wheelies in 3rd gear.
Way too loud though. Baffle is needed

Still can't believe how mental this bike is.
I still have a fair bit to do:
    Exhaust needs more fab work.
    Baffles.
    Clutch needs fab
    Switchgear.
    Swap the sidestand over.
Oh and I need to do something with the fender.
Its fouling my "airfilter" (its actually hitting the jubilee clip and not the filter).

The filter is real simple. Its some wire mesh and a bit of sponge.

The gearing can be changed in the future too. Its real short.
And the carb or CDI needs some work. Slight misfire at high RPM.

    So....
    Its together.
Im going to swap that cdi out.
    Its really dropping power.
    Still wheelies though.
